Step by step

Decal Installation Guide

For the best results, install your decals in a clean, dry environment. Take your time during installation to ensure proper alignment and adhesion.

  • 01 — Prepare the Surface

Remove the plastics from the bike if possible. Wash them thoroughly with soap and water to remove dirt, mud, grease, and other contaminants. Dry completely.

For best adhesion, wipe the surface with 70% isopropyl alcohol and allow it to fully evaporate.

  • 02 — Check the Fit

Before removing the backing paper, place each decal on the corresponding panel and check the positioning, edges, and alignment.

Use masking tape to mark the position if necessary.

  • 03 — Prepare the Decal

Place the decal face-up and gently press over the application tape to ensure the graphics are firmly attached to it.

Carefully peel away the backing paper while keeping the decal flat.

  • 04 — Position and Apply

Align the decal with the panel before allowing the adhesive to make full contact.

Starting from one edge, gradually apply the decal while pressing it down with a squeegee or soft application card.

  • 05 — Remove Air Bubbles

Work from the center toward the edges using firm, overlapping strokes.

If small bubbles remain, gently work them toward the nearest edge. Avoid lifting the decal repeatedly, as this can reduce adhesion.

  • 06 — Apply Heat to Curved Areas

For curves, recesses, and difficult areas, gently warm the vinyl with a heat gun or hair dryer.

Use moderate heat and work the vinyl gradually into the contours. Do not overheat or stretch the decal excessively.

  • 07 — Seal the Edges

Firmly press all edges, corners, seams, and recessed areas to ensure complete adhesion.

Pay extra attention to areas exposed to pressure, dirt, and water.

  • 08 — Allow the Decals to Cure

Allow the decals to bond for 24–48 hours before washing or riding.

Avoid pressure washing, harsh chemicals, or excessive water exposure during the curing period.

  • Installation Tips

    • Install in a clean, dry environment.
    • Recommended application temperature: 60–90°F (16–32°C).
    • Make sure the plastics are completely dry before installation.
    • Do not apply over wax, grease, silicone, or other surface treatments.
    • Take your time around curves and recessed areas.
    • For best results, professional installation is recommended for complex kits.

Important: Once the adhesive has made full contact, avoid repeatedly removing and repositioning the decal. This can affect adhesion and may cause stretching or wrinkles.
